Reeling is an intransitive verb which means to move about in an unsteady way as if they are going to fall. Some synonyms for the word are entrap, catch, capture, enmesh, tangle, entangle, net, bag, and ensnarl. There is an idiom called "feels overreals" and it means to place greater value on emotions than accepting a conflicting truth or reality. The word reel is a real word. In present times there has been a shift in technology and real life sometimes becomes reel life. Reel life is the perceptive portrayal of one's life in television, movies or social media. It is usually only glorifying only the best of times. A lack of a disconnect between real life and reel life will result in many psychological and mental health issues among people, including anxiety, low self-confidence, lack of self-esteem, depression, unsatisfied relationships and even suicide. The reel life is Satan "REELING YOU IN ".
Real Life isn't so easy either. There is a spiritual battle going on all around you. Most people don't like to accept that there is, and think the enemy called Satan is not real. Satan is mentioned 53 times in the bible and the word devil means slanderer, defamer. The bible gives us an inclination that Satan was once a cherub in the garden of Eden, a good angel that decided to give into pride seeking to be independent of God. He was then thrown down to below the earth and considered the fallen angel. He is also known in the bible as the Serpent, Lucifer, Son of the Morning, the Evil One, The Dragon, and the Tempter.
Satan is a creature created by God and is a spirit being, an unclean spirit. He has limitations though, unlike God he can't be omnipresent, he can't be everywhere at once. He relies on a network of demons, a world system under his control. His avenues are lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life. He is characterized as the Proud One, Rebel and Lawless One, Slanderer, Accuser, Liar and Deciever, Pervertor, Distorter and Imitator.
God gives you free will and opens his arms and says, "come to me ". It's your choice with no fishing line attached. Satan is always casting, and trying to be "REELING YOU IN. " You have the final say though, Satan can't even touch you if you don't let Him in. Don't take his bait! His power is useless against Almighty God. The bible is looked upon as a rulebook many times, but it's a purposeful guide to protect you from the forces of the Evil One. Many people say the "devil made me do it " and others say, "that was God's will for me " The truth is that you probably disobeyed scripture and you let Satan in.
The main topic for initiation at Satan's demonology class for new demons would be to make sure the people think that they are not real. To prey upon everyone making them ignorant Christians and unbelievers. The story of life has already been written and we know who the winner was. A lesson should be learned that if angels like Satan who were so close to God gave away the pride of seeking to be independent of God and fell in sin, we might want to be more careful" to take heed lest we fall ". The real life is that Satan is like a roaring lion around you, seeking to be "REELING YOU IN " and devouring you, only to spit you out on the floor of this earth. Stay close to the truth and farther from your emotions as your emotions can lead you astray. The top Conservation Warden is always looking to protect those displaying the fish symbol. Satan doesn't have a license to be "REELING YOU IN", but you have to obey the regulations in order to be free from the forces of evil. We can never be absolutely sinless in this world, but we can follow the One named Jesus by just coming to Him to be forgiven of them before Satan starts "REELING YOU IN ".
